Creating a B2B Financial podcast for an enterprise-level client, strategy, delivery and social media marketing.

What our client wanted

Aon approached us wanting a podcast that pushes out thought leadership in a different way. They already knew their audience and had a majority of industry decision-makers on their marketing database - the issue was getting busy people to digest the thought leadership they produced.

Our strategy

Avviso Media launched the podcast to complement existing in-house marketing efforts, aligning with the way we found that  Aon’s audience digested media. We utilised both our mobile and virtual recording studios, adapting to the changing circumstances of COVID-19. Capturing and controlling a crisp, clean sound which we then professionally mixed to create high-quality audio files. 


Our focus was on representing both industry experts and clients in an authentic way, and the Aon Retirement Podcast was released on all major streaming platforms. Following the release of each episode, we provided Aon’s in-house marketing team with a wealth of related social media content, largely in the form of sophisticated audiograms, to be pushed out across their LinkedIn and Twitter channels.

Aon’s Retirement Podcast has become widely quoted by the trade press, including Professional Pensions, as a reliable source of industry news.

Senior members of Aon’s team have experienced a rise in interest on social media thanks to the podcast’s success in capturing their personal brands.

Aon’s in-house marketing team have experienced boosts in engagement on their self-produced content.
